“25″ – nytt samlealbum fra a-ha

a-ha er denne sommeren og høsten i ferd med å avslutte sin suksessfylte karriere med en verdensomfattende avskjedsturne. Bandet har nettopp sluppet jubileumsutgaver av de to første albumene, Hunting high and low og Scoundrel days.
I går slapp de “25″ – en dobbel samleplate. Med 39 låter i kronologisk rekkefølge geleides vi gjennom hele bandets karriere, fra kjempehiten “Take On Me” til avskjedssinglen “Butterfly, Butterfly (The Last Hurrah)”. Her er sanger fra samtlige av gruppas ni studioalbum, samt James Bond-låta “The Living Daylights” og diverse remikser. Når Norges ubestridte popkonger først – og dessverre – har bestemt seg for å legge inn årene, kunne de ikke sagt farvel på en bedre måte enn denne: 25 etterlater ingen tvil om hva a-ha har betydd for norsk musikkliv og sine internasjonale horder av fans.
Med samlealbumet 25 har Warner Music og a-ha inngått et samarbeid med Coop og VG, hvilket i perioden 19. juli – 4. september innebærer at denne platen i fysisk format vil være eksklusivt tilgjengelig gjennom alle Coops butikker sammen med VG. Tilbudet innebærer at Coop-medlemmer i denne perioden kan kjøpe 1 stk. VG + 1 stk. CD av 25 for 99,- kroner. Ikke-medlemmer må betale 149,-.
Platen vil også være digitalt tilgjengelig som nedlastning og streaming eksklusivt på Platekompaniet og i WIMP.

I love A-HA, the band was in Brazil but did not come to Porto Alegre RS. Is there the possibility of them back here? “I would even go to the farewell show in Oslo.Não know any of the Scandinavian countries but the music of A-HA causes us to go there feeling. They will read that message?
Absoloutely beautiful & inspiring! The chords, lyrics & Morten’s vocals blend a spiritual message of fate & freedom of choice. Every personal journey is made up of some predestination, but ultimately, we have the choice of which path to take. Later (at the end of the journey) to know which choice would have brought us greater spiritual growth & happiness. But regardless if we enjoy each moment & learn as much as we can from the journey we take, we still will grow in ways unforseen. Thank you A-ha for this (Pal especially for the lyrics!) last gift to your fans. God bless you on the next part of your individual journeys! :0)

the sound is so electric and synth but so sweet Morten’s voice (that’s great Morten). The lyric text has a such sense of deepness (that’s great Paul). It’s really amazing hearing like a butterfly flynig from the sound (that’s great Magne).
